Adventure Wilderness - Canada's Northwest
Much has been written, told, documented, described and recounted about it.
But it had to be the legendary gold rush that made this northern country interesting for people. This part of the continent refuses to be brought to heel by human beings even today, no matter what their interests are.
And truly - this grandiose natural monument proves the utter insignificance and unimportance of each of us, shows you what a miniscule part of the whole you are.
Who hasn't dreamed of the land of trappers, gold diggers, adventurers, and setting foot in untouched nature. And there it still is - the real unknown, pathless and sometimes threatening wilderness.
In 1999 my feet touched this wilderness for the first time and from the very first moment I was told by this pristine nature with all its creatures : "I have to follow their law and not one single step the other way around"!
Year after year I grew into this fascinating rough existence and even today each day contains a new adventure.
